The project “RLS network for health promotion”: results and considerations at the end of the first year of activities

The project “RLS network for health promotion”, co-financed by the General Directorate for Prevention of INAIL, is aimed at improve knowledge and skills for workers’ safety representatives (RLS) and has reached the first year of activity. It refers to the winery, olive oil and horticultural areas and its main purposes are: implementation of interconnection networks between RLS, improvement of prevention and health promotion culture according to occupational hygiene’s principles.
The project is part of other projects aimed at developing preventive actions in the field of health and safety at work for workers’ safety representatives, with particular reference to the construction, agriculture and healthcare and hospital sectors" [Inail, 2016].
The working group is leaded by AIDII and includes the Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine of the University of Florence (Occupational Medicine), the Tuscan section of Italian Confederation of Farmers and Vie Ingegneria company.
The article refers to actions carried out, results and relative considerations at the end of the first year of project activities.
